- 7 fresh jalapeños
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic smashed
In a medium saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt and bring to a boil.
Slice jalapeños thinly (remove the seeds and ribs if you want it less spicy) and add to pickling liquid with smashed garlic cloves.
Let simmer until jalapeños turn an army green color, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat and spoon into a mason jar to store.
