Ingredients

  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Combine water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let bloom for 10 minutes.
  • Combine yeast mixture, flour, and salt in a bowl and knead until dough comes together in a ball, adding flour as needed.
  • Form into a ball and place into a clean bowl and cover with olive oil.
  • Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until double in size. (Dough can also be left to rest overnight)
  • Punch down dough and cut into two equal balls.
  • Preheat oven to 500°.
  • Roll into desired thickness and top with whatever toppings you like.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
