Not Your Grandma’s Meatballs

‘Italian’ Meatballs
I'm not Italian so there are some shortcuts here, but these still slap.

Ingredients
- ½ lb ground chuck
- ½ lb sweet Italian sausage
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- ¼ onion minced
- 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 24 oz jar pasta sauce
Instructions
- Combine ground chuck, Italian sausage, egg, parmesan cheese, milk, bread crumbs, crushed garlic, minced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, into a bowl and mix well to combine.
- Scoop mixture using a tablespoon, and roll into a ball.
- Heat one teaspoon of olive oil on a large non-stick pan over medium high heat and sear meatballs until brown on all sides. Once cooked remove to a paper towel lined plat to drain grease.
- In another pot heat pasta sauce. Add meatballs and simmer in sauce for 20-30 minutes.
- Enjoy over pasta or on a meatball sub.
